Co-Supervision: “Supporting the Peer Workforce”
New Life II Offers Co-Supervision to peers in the workforce as a space to process and reflect on engagements with participants, and to navigate the complexity of the unique peer support role. The goal is to create expertise together, through a process of learning, practice, and reflection. It is designed to model Intentional Peer Support’s (IPS) Co-reflection which is about creating mutual learning relationships, focusing on hope and possibility, and exploring together the four tasks – connection, worldview, mutuality and moving towards. Meeting with trained peer professionals contributes to relationship building, increased levels of personal growth and overall professional development.
