Peer Support Services
Real Support from People Who Have Walked the Path
At New Life II, peer support is the foundation of everything we do. Our services are led by people with lived experience in recovery, reentry, being unhoused, and overcoming life challenges. We understand the journey because we have walked it ourselves.
Peer support is not clinical treatment. It is real-life guidance, encouragement, and accountability from people who know what it takes to rebuild a life. Our team of trained peer recovery specialists meets individuals exactly where they are struggling with substance use, returning home from incarceration, living unhoused, or simply trying to find stability again.
We believe recovery and stability happen best in community. That is why our peer support focuses on connection, trust, and practical help that moves people forward.
Why Peer Support Works
Peer support is powerful because it is built on shared experience, trust, and hope. When someone sits across from a peer at New Life II, they are talking to someone who understands the struggle — not from a textbook, but from life. We show people that change is possible because we are living proof. Through connection, accountability, and community, individuals move from crisis to stability, from isolation to belonging, and from surviving to truly living again.
A Community That Walks Together
New Life II is more than a program — it is a community of people committed to recovery, healing, and second chances.
Every day our peers stand alongside individuals and families to remind them:
You are not alone.
Your life matters.
And a New Life is possible.
